According to the latest Adecco Job Watch figures, there has been a positive growth in banking and finance employment – great news for those of you looking to get into this sector.
But even better than this is the news for those of you on the lookout for jobs in the engineering sector, as hiring activity 'remains robust', Adecco says.
Steven Kirkpatrick, managing director at Adecco, said: "The next few months are going to be critical. If key sectors like banking, insurance and finance can continue to grow more strongly, then we could see related professional service sectors such as accountancy and law reaping the benefits, creating a knock-on effect across the board."
He added that benefits of the upcoming London 2012 Games could filter through to the wider economy.
