Jobseekers considering leaving a business card once they have finished their interview questions should opt for unusual designs according to an expert from Creative Boom.
Katy Cowan, editor of the e-zine, has stated that individual freelancers, jobseekers and companies should consider opting for a different design in order to stand out from everyone else.
Ms Cowan said: "Business cards are a great opportunity to stand out from the crowd. Don't just get something standard - splash out and have something unusual, like a different shaped business card or something that has a really interesting design."
It is also a good idea to brush up on business card etiquette too. According to Ms Cowan, freely giving out business cards can give off an air of desperation so effort should be put in to charm recipients before furnishing them with a card.
