Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced plans to undergo its largest ever recruitment programme for apprentices, taking on 133 over the course of 2012.
The numbers predicted in 2012 are significantly more than the 114 who were taken on during 2011 as the company continues its impressive reputation for recruitment across the board.
This year's apprentices will be located in a variety of areas in the UK, including Solihull, Castle Bromwich, Wolverhampton and Halewood in Merseyside with the company producing Land Rovers in Solihull and Halewood as well as Jaguars at the Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham.
Des Thurlby, from JLR, told the BBC: "Our apprentice intake has more than doubled in the last four years."
The company said it would be accepting applications for the apprenticeships from February 6th onwards.
JLR has already created a huge number of jobs in the UK, specifically at its Solihull plant, thanks partly to an award winning recruitment drive.
